Outdoor decks are the stage for birthday parties and barbeques. They host a variety of events, from large parties to small, intimate evenings in. When we have an initial consultation with a client who is considering a new deck, the first things we do is gather information about how they envision themselves using the deck. Will they be grilling on it? Dining? Do they want it to be an intimate area with just a few seating options?
We want to make sure our clients get everything they want from their new deck. It is far less expensive to add square footage during the planning stage rather than looking at the final project and wishing you'd gone bigger.
Once, not terribly long ago, when a home owner decided to build a deck the material selection was simple: wood. The innovations that have occurred in the last few decades have thrilled home owners who dread the maintenance of wood decks.

Check out these decks! They'll definitely give you inspiration!
Backyards have always been enjoyed, but in recent decades we've started thinking of our yards as extensions of our homes' living space. We now have a variety of uses for our outside spaces, from outdoor kitchens to outdoor media rooms. Pergolas, Gazebos and Pavilions completely changes the feel of a backyard.
Fireplaces, audio and video capabilities, comfy seating....a roofed structure instantly transforms a space into an intimate, private living space that rivals a home's family room. We would love to help you maximize your outdoor space's potential with a new gazebo, pavilion or pergola.

Check out a few of our favorite inspirations!
Pergolas have a lattice style roof and offer little protection from the sun and weather.
Gazebos are structures with a covered roof system that protects from the sun and weather. Traditionally, these were hexagonal or octagonal structures, but we often see square and rectangular gazebos.
Gazebos' big brothers and sisters, pavilions are larger structures with a covered roof. Most people know of a pavilion in a park, but they're making more of an appearance in residential backyards. Fireplaces are amazing in a pavilion!
